Directors are compensated $300 per day of service for a maximum of six (6) days per month.

Directors receive a medical stipend of $1,896 for calendar year 2025. The annual amount is set at the monthly PEMHCA rate established by CalPERS multiplied by 12 months. 

Directors do not participate in the California Public Retirement System (CalPERS).
