Our Purpose

The City of Indio and the Valley Sanitary District have formed a Joint Powers Authority to plan, program, finance, design and operate a Reclaimed Water Facility to bring a sustainable water supply and manage the water resources for the customers of the City of Indio Water Authority and the Valley Sanitary District.
