Responsibilites

The Environmental Compliance Department inspects pretreatment processes, industrial and commercial facilities to ensure compliance with District ordinances and regulations regarding the use of grease interceptors, sand/oil interceptors and clarifiers. The department develops, implements, and maintains pretreatment program documentation, permits, and databases to comply with 40 CFR part 403 of the Federal Pretreatment Program.
